VOLUNTEER - Seeking Sunday School Teachers!

When asked about people who made a difference in their life, many people quickly remember a faithful Sunday School teacher. Helping children explore their faith is fun, important, and rewarding. It is also easier than you might think!

We are especially excited to introduce the new SPARK Sunday School Curriculum for the 2009 -2010 year. It ia a Lutheran curiculum that helps kids learn about their faith in different ways. It is also VERY user-friendly and supportive for volunteer teachers, asking the question "What if teachers were better prepared in less time?"

You can volunteer today to be a Sunday School teacher!

If you have any questions, fears, or concerns...of if you would like to observe one of our Sunday School classes, please contact Wendy Long today.

VOLUNTEER - Habitat For Humanity Garage Sales

Many Habitat for Humanity Affiliates in the area run a "Habitat Store". Delaware County is moving in that direction by holding Garage Sales on Saturdays this summer. Volunters are needed to staff theses garage sales. Here are some details:
  • Sales are Saturdays from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm
  • Location is on 291 across from the new soccer stadium
  • Need is for 2 or 3 volunteers
  • Everything will already be priced
  • Buyers must carry their own purchases
Volunteers will take cash, make change and make a bank deposit at the end of the sale at any TD Bank.
This is a great way to continue our support of Habitat for Humanity. Interested volunteers can contact Jody Troyan via email or by calling (610)328-1394.
