Temple Lutheran Church was excited to sponsor congregation member Ingrid Burd in the recent 3 day 60 mile walk raising support to fight breast cancer.
The congregation council received the following letter of appreciation from Ingrid after her successful completion of the walk:
Thank you for your support, I was thrilled to recieve such a generous donation. The actual contribution was posted the day after the walk, and it was exciting to know that the fight against cancer continued. The walk was absolutely WONDERFUL, definitely one of the best weekends of my life--full of laughter, tears, high fives, cold nights, sore muscles, windburn and inspiration. It was such an empowering experience and I truly believe we made a difference and provided HOPE for the future of cancer research, detection, treatment and recovery. Thank you again for your generosity.
