On Thursday, November 20th, Temple Lutheran Church will host a Faith & Film Movie Night featuring the movie "What Would Jesus Buy?"
A “brilliant” and “seriously hilarious” documentary from producer Morgan Spurlock (Super Size Me), What Would Jesus Buy? Follows activists from “The Church of Stop Shopping” across the country during the holiday shopping frenzy. Using humor and satire, this film challenges us to examine why we buy so much, where we buy, how we buy, and what we can do to transform our habits and our communities...not just during Christmas, but year-round.
The event will begin at 7pm in the Parlor. A discussion will follow the film. Bring your own snacks to share!
