In response to concerns about the deficit budget for 2009 approved by the Southeastern PA Synod Assembly, the Assembly directed that a special appeal be held to help defray the projected shortfall. The Synod Council has scheduled a special synod-wide offering to be held All Saints Day, Sunday, Nov. 2. The theme for this offering is “It Takes All The Saints” to provide for the future of the Lutheran Witness in Southeastern Pennsylvania. Information about this important appeal will be distributed during worship on November 2nd and is also available at the offices of Temple Lutheran Church.
