Everyone is invited and encouraged to come to the Flea Market at Temple Lutheran Church this Saturday, September 13, 2008.
During the Flea Market, which will also feature the sale of crafts and craft supplies, there will be two very special ways to help others:
1. A limited amount of Fair Trade Certified crafts from around the world will be sold. In addition to helping families in developing countries, the proceeds from this sail will benefit Temple member Ingrid Burd's participation in the the 3-day walk for breast cancer research.
2. Temple member Liz Bruss (11th grade student at Lower Merion HS) is organizing a bake sale to benefit "Nothing But Nets". Every $10 raised will provide one mosquito net for a family in Africa to protect them from Malaria. Liz is seeking people to provide baked goods to be sold on Saturday.
